Mokṣa-dharma Yoga-Upadeśa: Equanimity, Sense-Restraint, and Vision of the Ātman (आत्मदर्शन-योगोपदेशः)

The verse stresses adhikāra (fitness) for receiving instruction: profound teaching should be heard only by a qualified listener, and genuine understanding requires an undivided, steady inner mind rather than a conflicted or doubting one.
Vāyudeva addresses a ‘blameless’ person and restricts the teaching’s audience, stating that others are not entitled even to hear it, and that a mind troubled by inner confusion cannot grasp it properly at that moment.
