अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
सुसूक्ष्मं च व्यलीकं ते सपुत्रस्य न विद्यते । यत् तु ज्ञातिविमर्देडस्मिन्नात्थ दुर्योधन प्रति
susūkṣmaṃ ca vyalīkaṃ te saputrasya na vidyate | yat tu jñātivimarde ’sminn āttha duryodhana prati ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «En toi et en ton fils, il n’y a pas la moindre trace de ruse ni de mensonge. Pourtant, dans cet affrontement amer entre parents, les paroles que tu as prononcées contre Duryodhana sont venues peser sur la tension morale de l’instant.»
