धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Permission for Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Forest-Retirement
असम्यग् वा महाभागास्तत् क्षन्तव्यमतन्द्रितैः । निष्पाप महाभागगण! पाण्डुके बाद मैंने भी आपलोगोंकी भली या बुरी सेवा की है, उसमें जो भूल हुई हो, उसके लिये आप आलस्यरहित प्रजाजन मुझे क्षमा करें
asamyag vā mahābhāgās tat kṣantavyam atandritaiḥ | niṣpāpa mahābhāga-gaṇa! pāṇḍuke bādha maiṃne bhī āpalogoṃkī bhalī yā burī sevā kī hai, usmeṃ jo bhūl huī ho, uske liye ālasyarahit prajājan mujhe kṣamā kareṃ |
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Si quelque chose a été accompli de façon incorrecte, ô nobles, que cela soit pardonné par vous, vigilants et exempts de négligence. Ô assemblée sans péché des grands ! Dans le service que je vous ai rendu—qu’il ait été bon ou imparfait—si quelque faute s’y est glissée, alors, ô peuple diligent, je vous prie de m’accorder votre pardon.»
