Transliteration

evam uktaḥ sa rājendro vyāsenāmitabuddhinā

Translation

Ainsi interpellé par Vyāsa, à la sagesse sans mesure, ce roi, le premier des souverains, écouta — prêt à répondre selon le dharma et selon l’avis d’un voyant dont la clairvoyance dépasse le jugement commun.
