धृतराष्ट्रस्य सत्कारः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra Honored in the Post-war Court

वासांसि च महाहाणि माल्यानि विविधानि च । उपाजहुर्यथान्यायं धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवा:,पाण्डवलोग धृतराष्ट्रको यथोचित रूपसे बहुमूल्य वस्त्र और नाना प्रकारकी मालाएँ भेंट करते थे

Transliteration

vāsāṃsi ca mahārhāṇi mālyāni vividhāni ca | upājahur yathānyāyaṃ dhṛtarāṣṭrasya pāṇḍavāḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Les Pāṇḍava offrirent dûment à Dhṛtarāṣṭra des vêtements de grand prix et des guirlandes de toutes sortes, selon ce qu’exigeaient la bienséance et le respect. Ce geste atteste leur fidélité au dharma : honorer un aîné et un ancien roi malgré les blessures du passé.
