छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
ततस्तदौषधीनां च वीरुधां पुष्पपत्रजम् । सर्व वर्षाभिनिर्वत्तमन्न॑ं सम्भवति प्रभो
tatastad-auṣadhīnāṁ ca vīrudhāṁ puṣpa-patrajam | sarva-varṣābhinirvattam annaṁ sambhavati prabho ||
Bhīṣma dit : «De cette eau de pluie naissent les innombrables herbes médicinales et les plantes rampantes, avec leurs fleurs et leurs feuilles. Ô Seigneur, d’une manière générale, toutes les variétés de grains et de nourriture viennent à l’existence grâce aux eaux des pluies.»
