Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
ततोडब्रुवन् देवगणा: पितामहमुपेत्य वै । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वे शिरोभिरभिवन्द्य च,इस प्रकार विवाद उपस्थित होनेपर समस्त देवताओंने ब्रह्माजीके पास जा दोनों हाथ जोड़ मस्तक झुकाकर उनको प्रणाम किया और कहा--
tato 'bruvan devagaṇāḥ pitāmaham upetya vai | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarve śirobhir abhivandya ca ||
Lorsque le différend s’éleva ainsi, toutes les cohortes des dieux s’approchèrent de Pitāmaha Brahmā. Les paumes jointes avec révérence et la tête inclinée, ils lui rendirent hommage, puis prirent la parole—sollicitant sa direction afin de rétablir l’ordre et de maintenir le dharma.
