Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ततोडग्रतस्ततः सिद्धानुपवेश्य बहूनूषीन् | तोयप्रदानात् प्रभृति कार्याण्यहमथारभम्,तदनन्तर अपने सामने बहुत-से सिद्ध-महर्षियोंको बिठाकर मैंने जलदान आदि सारे कार्य आरम्भ किये
tato ’gratas tataḥ siddhān upaveśya bahūn ṛṣīn | toyapradānāt prabhṛti kāryāṇy aham athārabham |
Bhishma dit : «Puis, après avoir fait asseoir devant moi de nombreux sages et voyants accomplis, j’entrepris les rites prescrits—en commençant par l’offrande d’eau—ouvrant ainsi la suite des devoirs selon l’ordre convenable.»
