Gopradāna-Māhātmya: Inquiry into Goloka
पर्णशालेति विख्यातो रमणीयो नराधिप । विद्वांसस्तत्र भूयिष्ठा ब्राह्म॒णाश्चावसंस्तथा
Bhīṣma uvāca | Parṇaśāleti vikhyāto ramaṇīyo narādhipa | vidvāṁsas tatra bhūyiṣṭhā brāhmaṇāś cāvasaṁs tathā ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi, il existait une bourgade délicieuse, renommée parmi les hommes sous le nom de Parṇaśālā. Là demeuraient en grand nombre de nombreux brahmanes savants—dans la région médiane sacrée entre la Gaṅgā et la Yamunā, sur la plaine basse proche du massif de la Yamunā. La scène établit un cadre dharmique : une communauté fondée sur l’étude et la conduite brahmanique, d’où se déploieront enseignements moraux et récits exemplaires.»
भीष्म उवाच
