गोप्रदान-माहात्म्ये गोलोक-प्रश्नः
Gopradāna-Māhātmya: Inquiry into Goloka
यद् वै ददाति वित्रेभ्यो ब्राह्मण: प्रतिगृह वै । उभयो: स्यात् तदक्षय्यं दातुरादातुरेव च
yad vai dadāti vitrebhyo brāhmaṇaḥ pratigṛhya vai | ubhayoḥ syāt tad akṣayyaṁ dātur ādātur eva ca ||
Bhīṣma dit : Lorsqu’un brahmane reçoit un don puis transmet cette même richesse à d’autres brahmanes, le mérite de cet acte devient inépuisable pour les deux—pour le donateur initial et pour le receveur qui la redistribue. L’enseignement souligne que les dons voués à un usage sacré portent un fruit durable lorsqu’ils sont acceptés sans avidité et transmis dans l’esprit du dharma.
