Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
प्रयतो ब्राह्मणाग्रे यः श्रद्धया परया युत: । उपस्पर्शनषड्भागं लभते पुरुष: सदा
bhīṣma uvāca | prayato brāhmaṇāgre yaḥ śraddhayā parayā yutaḥ | upasparśana-ṣaḍbhāgaṃ labhate puruṣaḥ sadā ||
Bhīṣma dit : L’homme qui se maîtrise et, avec une foi suprême, se comporte avec humilité devant un brāhmaṇa, obtient toujours un mérite égal au sixième du mérite d’un don, par ce geste de respect.
