श्रवणे कम्बलं दत्त्वा वस्त्रान्तरितमेव वा । श्वेतेन याति यानेन स्वर्गलोकानसंवृतान्
śravaṇe kambalaṃ dattvā vastrāntaritameva vā | śvetena yāti yānena svargalokān asaṃvṛtān ||
Nārada dit : «Celui qui, sous la demeure Śravaṇa, offre une couverture de laine pour protéger les oreilles—qu’elle soit donnée telle quelle ou enveloppée dans un autre tissu—voyage dans un char céleste blanc et parvient aux mondes du ciel, sans obstacle.»
