Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
इत्येतद् गोषु मे प्रोक्त माहात्म्यं भरतर्षभ । गुणैकदेशवचनं शक्यं पारायणं न तु
ity etad goṣu me proktaṃ māhātmyaṃ bharatarṣabha | guṇaikadeśavacanaṃ śakyaṃ pārāyaṇaṃ na tu ||
Ainsi, ô taureau parmi les Bhārata, je t’ai exposé la grandeur des vaches. Pourtant, ce que j’ai dit n’est qu’un aperçu de leurs vertus : on peut en évoquer une part, mais on ne saurait en réciter ni en épuiser la totalité.
