Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
तथैव हि भवेयुस्ते लोका: पापकृतो यथा । कृत्वा नाचक्षत: कर्म मम तच्च यथाकृतम्
tathaiva hi bhaveyus te lokāḥ pāpakṛto yathā | kṛtvā nācakṣataḥ karma mama tac ca yathākṛtam |
Vipula dit : « Ainsi, tu pourrais bien obtenir les mêmes mondes que ceux qui échoient aux pécheurs. Car, bien que tu aies accompli cet acte — accompli, il est vrai, en protégeant mon épouse — tu ne me l’as pas révélé ; dès lors, tu pourrais être voué aux mêmes domaines que ceux qui pratiquent le mal. »
