Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तो विपुलस्तेन तपस्वी नियतेन्द्रिय:
bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto vipulas tena tapasvī niyatendriyaḥ |
Bhishma dit : Ainsi interpellé, Vipula—ascète aux sens maîtrisés—accepta l’instruction et répondit : « Qu’il en soit ainsi. » Brillant comme le feu et le soleil, ferme dans de rudes austérités, voué au dharma et à la vérité, il se soumit à l’ordre de son maître. Puis, comme le précepteur allait partir, Vipula l’interrogea de nouveau de la manière suivante.
