Educational Q&A

This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it signals the completion of a chapter in the Dāna-dharma (charity) teachings, framing the preceding discourse as part of Bhīṣma’s ethical instruction on righteous giving and moral order.

Bhīṣma’s discourse reaches a formal close for this unit: the text announces that the thirty-fourth chapter—centered on the dialogue between Pṛthivī (Earth) and Vāyu (Wind)—has ended within the Anuśāsana Parva’s Dāna-dharma section.
