Brāhmaṇa-pūjā, Haviḥ-dāna, and the Vāsudeva–Pṛthivī Saṃvāda
Chapter 34
Faithful performance of prescribed fire-rituals—establishing the sacred fire correctly, reverently maintaining it, and offering Soma—symbolizes steadfast adherence to dharma; such disciplined devotion is said to help one overcome severe hardships.
Nārada is describing the fruit of Vedic observances: those who properly install and protect the sacred fire and make Soma offerings are praised as gaining the power to cross difficult dangers and calamities.
