Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
At life’s final moment, a disciplined and ethically respected person who fixes the mind on the sacred Gaṅgā gains the highest posthumous destiny; inner purity and final remembrance are presented as decisive.
A Siddha delivers an instruction about the time of death: when the prāṇa departs, mental recollection of Gaṅgā—supported by a life of restraint and good conduct—leads to the supreme gati.
