सौम्या गौ: सुरभियद्देवी विश्रवाश्व महानृषि: । संकल्प: सागरो गजड्जा स्रवन्त्यो5थ मरुद्गण:
bhīṣma uvāca |
saumyā gauḥ surabhir yad devī viśravāś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |
saṅkalpaḥ sāgaraḥ gaṅgādyāḥ sravantyo 'tha marudgaṇaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Dans cette sainte lignée de noms divins et de voyants sont aussi mentionnés : la douce vache Surabhī, la déesse ; le grand sage Viśravā ; Saṅkalpa, la puissance de la résolution ; l’Océan ; les fleuves qui s’écoulent, à commencer par la Gaṅgā ; et les cohortes des Maruts.»
