सर्वकर्मा स्वयम्भूत आदिरादिकरो निधि: । सहस्राक्षो विशालाक्ष: सोमो नक्षत्रसाधक:
sarvakarmā svayambhūta ādir ādikaro nidhiḥ | sahasrākṣo viśālākṣaḥ somo nakṣatrasādhakaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva dit : «Il accomplit toutes les œuvres, existant par lui-même et toujours accompli ; il est le premier commencement, celui qui fait surgir l’origine primordiale, et un trésor inépuisable de puissance. Il est aux mille yeux, au regard immense ; il est Soma — la Lune en sa forme — et le soutien ainsi que l’ordonnateur des étoiles.»
