ज्ञानपूर्वकृतं कर्म च्छादयन्ते हासाधव: । ज्ञानपूर्व विनश्यन्ति गूहमाना महाजने
jñānapūrvakṛtaṃ karma cchādayante hāsādhavaḥ | jñānapūrvaṃ vinaśyanti gūhamānā mahājane ||
Bhīṣma dit : Les méchants s’efforcent de dissimuler même les fautes commises en pleine connaissance. Pourtant, lorsqu’ils cherchent à tenir leur forfait caché en présence des grands, au regard pénétrant, ils vont à leur perte : car la culpabilité, volontairement couverte, les détruit.
