प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत् । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे
pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||
Vāyu dit : «Il est le bienfaiteur de tous les mondes, accordant aux êtres ce qu’ils désirent. Cet immense univers lui-même est déclaré être sa manifestation. C’est pourquoi les brāhmaṇas et les autres voyants le proclament le plus ancien —le primordial, le premier entre les êtres.»
