ऋषयश्चापि देवाश्ष गन्धर्वाप्सरसस्तथा । लिड्रमेवार्चयन्ति सम यत् तदूर्ध्व समास्थितम्
ṛṣayaś cāpi devāś ca gandharvāpsarasas tathā | liṅgam evārcayanti sama yat tad ūrdhvaṃ samāsthitam ||
Vāyu dit : «Les sages, les dieux, et de même les Gandharvas et les Apsaras, adorent ce même liṅga établi dans le monde supérieur.» Le vers souligne que même les êtres les plus élevés honorent Śiva par le culte du liṅga ; une telle dévotion respectueuse réjouit Mahādeva qui, tendre envers ses dévots, leur accorde bien-être et bonheur.
