अजुन उवाच जीवाम्यहं ब्राह्मणार्थ सर्वथा सततं प्रभो | ब्रह्माण्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्ष प्रणणमामि च नित्यश:

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca jīvāmy ahaṃ brāhmaṇārthaṃ sarvathā satataṃ prabho | brahmaṇyo brāhmaṇebhyaś ca praṇamāmi ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

Arjuna dit : Ô Seigneur, de toutes les manières et en tout temps, je soutiens ma vie pour le bien des brāhmaṇas. Je suis dévoué à ce qui est sacré et brahmanique, et chaque jour je m’incline avec révérence devant les brāhmaṇas.
