The verse affirms the timeless sanctity of Sāvitrī/Gāyatrī by identifying it with Brahman, and it models the ethic of instruction: a teacher completes one topic and invites further sincere inquiry.
In the Anuśāsana Parva’s instruction-setting, Bhīṣma concludes his account of the greatness of Sāvitrī/Gāyatrī to King Yudhiṣṭhira and offers to answer any further questions.
