सौम्या रौद्रा गणाश्वैव योगभूतगणास्तथा । ज्योतींषि सरितो व्योम सुपर्ण: पतगेश्वर:
saumyā raudrā gaṇāś caiva yogabhūta-gaṇās tathā | jyotīṁṣi sarito vyoma suparṇaḥ patageśvaraḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Il est des troupes douces et des troupes farouches, et de même des troupes unies à la puissance du yoga. Les lumières du ciel, les rivières, le ciel lui-même, et Suparṇa — seigneur des oiseaux — (sont compris dans cet ordre cosmique). »
भीष्म उवाच
