Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
अन्यथा बहुबुद्धयाढ्यो वाक््यं वदति संसदि । अन्यथैव हाहंवादी दुर्बलं वदते वच:
anyathā bahubuddhyāḍhyo vākyaṃ vadati saṃsadi | anyathaiva hāhaṃvādī durbalaṃ vadate vacaḥ ||
Maheshvara dit : «L’homme riche d’intelligence parle dans l’assemblée d’une certaine manière : avec mesure, discernement et selon l’heure. Mais le hâbleur qui s’affirme lui-même parle tout autrement, proférant des paroles faibles et peu sûres. Celui qui possède le savoir et le jugement pratique, habile à peser les alternatives, et qui soumet ses doutes à divers orateurs compétents, ne tombe pas dans la détresse.»
