कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
एष देवि मया सर्व: संशयच्छेदनाय ते । कुशलाकुशलो नृणां व्याख्यातो धर्मसागर:
eṣā devi mayā sarvaḥ saṁśayacchedanāya te | kuśalākuśalo nṛṇāṁ vyākhyāto dharmasāgaraḥ ||
Ô Déesse, afin de trancher tes doutes, je t’ai exposé pleinement l’océan du dharma—comment la conduite des hommes devient salutaire ou funeste, et ce qui mène au juste ou à l’injuste.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Śiva concludes that he has fully expounded the vast ‘ocean of dharma’ by distinguishing wholesome (kuśala) and unwholesome (akuśala) human conduct, with the explicit aim of removing Devī’s doubts.
Maheśvara addresses Devī at the close of an instruction, summarizing that his discourse has clarified ethical discernment and resolved the questions she raised.
