इन्द्रेण च पुरा व्र॒ज॑ क्षिप्तं श्रीकाड्क्षिणा मम । दग्ध्वा कण्ठं तु तद् यातं तेन श्रीकण्ठता मम
Translation
«Autrefois, Indra lança sur moi le vajra, désireux de s’emparer de ma splendeur. Ce foudre brûla ma gorge puis s’en alla. C’est ainsi que je fus renommé Śrīkaṇṭha.»
