तस्य धर्मक्रिया देवि ब्रह्म॒चर्या च न्न्यायतः । व्रतोपनयनं चैव द्विजो येनोपपद्यते
Translation
Ô Déesse ! Qu’il accomplisse les actes rituels du dharma et qu’il observe, selon la juste règle, la brahmacarya. Il lui est en outre absolument nécessaire de recevoir l’upanayana, avec l’observance du vœu, car c’est par ce rite qu’il devient dvija, « né deux fois ».
