Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
The verse teaches a vision of the Supreme as the universal parent and origin: all beings—immobile and mobile—depend upon and arise from the same ultimate source, grounding reverence, humility, and ethical regard toward all life.
In Anuśāsana Parva, Bhīṣma is instructing and praising the supreme principle/deity addressed as “you,” affirming that the one being spoken to is the father, mother, lord, and originating cause of all creatures on earth.
