(य इमं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चापि परिकीर्तयेत् स शुभानू प्राप्तुते लोकान् सदाचारव्रतान्नूप ।।
ya imaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | sa śubhān prāpnute lokān sadācāra-vratān nṛpa ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô roi, quiconque écoute chaque jour ce récit, et quiconque le récite aussi à haute voix, atteint des mondes propices par la puissance des vœux enracinés dans la bonne conduite.»
