Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
इन्द्रियाणि सकृत्स्पृश्य त्रिरभ्युक्ष्य च मानव: । कुर्वीत पित्र्यं दैवं च वेददृष्टेन कर्मणा
indriyāṇi sakṛt spṛśya trir abhyukṣya ca mānavaḥ | kurvīta pitryaṃ daivaṃ ca vedadṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Après avoir touché une fois les organes des sens (tels que les yeux) et s’être ensuite aspergé d’eau trois fois, l’homme doit accomplir les offrandes aux dieux et aux ancêtres, selon le rite prescrit par les Veda.»
