Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence

आकारं गूहमाना च मन्युना च समीरिता । तपसा सम्भूृतं तेजो धारयामास वै तदा,क्रोध उसे उत्तेजित कर रहा था, फिर भी उसने अपने आकारको छिपाये रखा और तपस्याद्वारा संचित किये हुए अपने तेजको वह अपने भीतर ही धारण किये रही
Transliteration
ākāraṁ gūhamānā ca manyunā ca samīritā | tapasā sambhṛtaṁ tejo dhārayāmāsa vai tadā ||
Translation
Duṣyanta dit : «Bien que l’indignation la soulevât, elle dissimula son apparence extérieure ; et, en ce moment, elle retint en elle la splendeur amassée par l’austérité, maîtrisant sa puissance au lieu de laisser la colère conduire ses actes.»
