आवयोर्दष्टयोरेभि: कथं तु स्थात् समागम: । एवं तयोक्तो भगवान् नीहारमसूजत् प्रभु:,“और हम दोनोंको देख रहे हैं। ऐसी दशामें हमारा समागम कैसे हो सकता है?” उसके ऐसा कहनेपर शक्तिशाली भगवान् पराशरने कुहरेकी सृष्टि की
āvayor dṛṣṭayor ebhiḥ kathaṃ tu sthāt samāgamaḥ | evaṃ tayokto bhagavān nīhāram asūjat prabhuḥ |
« Ils nous regardent tous deux ; comment notre union serait-elle possible en pareille situation ? » dit-elle. Ainsi interpellé, le puissant sage Parāśara, maître de ses pouvoirs spirituels, fit naître un voile de brume, ôtant l’obstacle du regard public.
