वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic discipline around sacred rites: after properly honoring Agni and receiving auspicious blessings from Brahmins, one restrains celebratory commotion. Ritual completion is marked not only by offerings but also by orderly conduct and reverence.
After the fire (Agni) has been ritually satisfied and Brahmins have recited svasti (auspicious benedictions), the person in charge commands that all instruments playing around be silenced, signaling a transition from public celebration to solemn closure of the rite.
