न हिंस्या मानुषा भूयो युष्माभिरिति करहिचित् | हिंसतां हि वध: शीघ्रमेवमेव भवेदिति
na hiṃsyā mānuṣā bhūyo yuṣmābhir iti karhicit | hiṃsatāṃ hi vadhaḥ śīghram evam eva bhaved iti
Vaiśampāyana dit : « Qu’à l’avenir, jamais plus vous ne fassiez de mal aux hommes—à aucun moment. Car pour ceux qui se livrent à la violence, une ruine prompte s’ensuit à coup sûr ; ainsi en est-il. »
