Vasiṣṭha as Purohita: Ascetic Mastery and Royal Counsel
तान् भीतान् विगतज्ञानान् भीम: प्रहरतां वर: । सान्त्वयामास बलवान् समये च न्यवेशयत्
tān bhītān vigatajñānān bhīmaḥ praharatāṃ varaḥ | sāntvayāmāsa balavān samaye ca nyaveśayat ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Les voyant terrifiés et privés de discernement, Bhīma—le plus éminent de ceux qui frappent—usa de sa force non pour accroître la panique, mais pour les affermir : il rassura les hommes effrayés et, au moment voulu, les remit dans l’ordre convenable.
