Kuntī–Yudhiṣṭhira Dialogue on Bhīma’s Mission
निर्वापयन्तो ज्वलनं ते जना ददृशुस्तत: । जातुषं तद् गृहं दग्धममात्यं च पुरोचनम्,आते ही वे (सब) लोग आग बुझानेमें लग गये। उस समय उन्होंने देखा कि सारा घर लाखका बना था, जो जलकर खाक हो गया। उसीमें मन्त्री पुरोचन भी जल गया था
nirvāpayanto jvalanaṃ te janā dadṛśus tataḥ | jātuṣaṃ tad gṛhaṃ dagdham amātyaṃ ca purocanam ||
Tandis que le peuple se hâtait d’éteindre l’incendie, il vit alors que la maison entière—faite de laque—avait été réduite en cendres ; et, en son sein, le ministre Purocana aussi avait péri brûlé.
