Entry into Vāraṇāvata and Suspicion of the Lac-House
विदुरो धृतराष्ट्राय गान्धार्या: पाण्डवारणि: | न्यवेदयेतां तत् सर्व कुमाराणां विचेष्टितम्,विदुर धृतराष्ट्रको और पाण्डव जननी कुन्ती गान्धारीको उन राजकुमारोंकी सारी चेष्टाएँ बताती जाती थीं
viduro dhṛtarāṣṭrāya gāndhāryāḥ pāṇḍavāraṇiḥ | nyavedayetāṃ tat sarvaṃ kumārāṇāṃ viceṣṭitam |
Vidura ne cessait d’informer Dhṛtarāṣṭra, et Kuntī—mère des Pāṇḍava—ne cessait d’informer Gāndhārī, de toute la conduite et de tous les agissements de ces princes.
धृतराष्ट उवाच
Elders and guardians must remain informed about the conduct of heirs and respond with timely guidance; awareness and truthful reporting are safeguards of dharma in a royal household.
Two parallel channels of communication are described: Vidura reports the princes’ activities to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, while Kuntī reports those same activities to Gāndhārī—keeping the senior figures apprised of the young royals’ behavior.
