ब्रह्मविष्ण्विन्द्रचन्द्रादि वयं च प्रमुखाः सुराः सुरासुराः सम्प्रसूतास् त्वत्तः सर्वे महेश्वर
brahmaviṣṇvindracandrādi vayaṃ ca pramukhāḥ surāḥ surāsurāḥ samprasūtās tvattaḥ sarve maheśvara
Ô Maheśvara, Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Indra, Candra et les autres — et nous aussi, les premiers parmi les Deva — en vérité, dieux et asura sans distinction sont tous issus de Toi. Toi seul es le Pati, la source d’où procèdent tous les êtres.

It establishes Śiva (the Linga’s reality) as the universal source, so Linga-pūjā is worship of the causal Pati from whom all gods and beings arise.
Śiva is affirmed as Pati—the supreme cause beyond sectarian hierarchy—while Brahmā, Viṣṇu and other deities function as derived powers within His manifestation.
The key practice is tattva-jñāna as the basis of pūjā: recognizing all agencies as arising from Śiva, which supports Pāśupata-style surrender (śaraṇāgati) and single-pointed devotion.
