Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It emphasizes that the highest support for Linga-worship is inner Shiva-dhyāna—devotion that purifies the pashu and makes external worship fruitful through focused remembrance of Pati (Shiva).
By presenting Shiva as the sole object of steadfast meditation, it implies Shiva-tattva as the supreme Pati—worthy of continuous contemplation, whose grace and presence elevate beings to awakened, divine qualities.
Shiva-dhyāna (meditative absorption on Shiva), aligned with a Pāśupata orientation where inner discipline and remembrance loosen pāśa (bondage) and mature devotion.
