Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
मन्वन्तरेण चैकेन सर्वाण्येवान्तराणि च कथितानि भविष्यन्ति कल्पः कल्पेन चैव हि
manvantareṇa caikena sarvāṇyevāntarāṇi ca kathitāni bhaviṣyanti kalpaḥ kalpena caiva hi
En décrivant ne fût-ce qu’un seul Manvantara, tous les cycles intermédiaires se trouvent expliqués par implication; de même, en parlant d’un Kalpa, on comprend la nature des Kalpas.
