वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

महादन्तो महादंष्ट्रो महाजिह्वो महामुखः महानखो महारोमा महाकेशो महाजटः

Transliteration

mahādanto mahādaṃṣṭro mahājihvo mahāmukhaḥ mahānakho mahāromā mahākeśo mahājaṭaḥ

Translation

Il est Celui aux grandes dents, aux crocs puissants; à la langue vaste et à la bouche immense; aux grands ongles, au poil abondant, à la chevelure luxuriante et aux puissantes mèches emmêlées—Mahādeva, dont la forme saisissante dépasse toute mesure.
