Suta Goswami
It emphasizes ordered, rule-governed (yathākramam) honoring of Mahādeva—an attitude central to Liṅga-pūjā, where devotion is expressed through disciplined ritual sequence and reverent attendance to the Lord.
Śiva appears as Pati—Mahādeva—worthy of being borne and served by exalted beings, showing His transcendence and sovereignty even over celestial musicians and attendants.
A processional mode of worship (sequential service and accompaniment) is implied—devotional discipline aligned with Pāśupata sensibility: orderly conduct, reverence to Pati, and participation of Śiva’s retinue in sacred observance.
