FAQs

It situates Śiva (Śarva/Rudra) within a sacred cosmic center, implying that Linga-pūjā aligns the devotee (paśu) with the Lord’s (pati) supreme sphere and its ordered retinues.

By portraying Rudra’s abode as the hub encircled by divine vimānas, it hints at Śiva-tattva as the sovereign ground of power and presence, around which other divine functions and beings are arranged.

Indirectly, it supports Pāśupata-style contemplative ascent: meditation on Śiva’s loka/āyatana (abode) as the inner goal, with the many vimānas symbolizing graded states of realization and divine proximity.
