सप्तद्वीप-सप्तसमुद्र-वर्णनम् तथा प्रियव्रतवंश-राज्यविभागः

क्षारोदेक्षुरसोदश् च सुरोदश् च घृतोदधिः दध्यर्णवश् च क्षीरोदः स्वादूदश्चाप्यनुक्रमात्

Transliteration

kṣārodekṣurasodaś ca surodaś ca ghṛtodadhiḥ dadhyarṇavaś ca kṣīrodaḥ svādūdaścāpyanukramāt

Translation

Dans l’ordre se succèdent les océans : l’océan salé, l’océan du jus de canne, l’océan des liqueurs, l’océan du beurre clarifié (ghṛta), l’océan du caillé, l’océan du lait, et aussi l’océan des eaux douces — ainsi sont-ils disposés.
