Rudra’s Cosmic Dance and the Recognition of Rudra–Nārāyaṇa Unity (Īśvara-gītā Continuation)
A devotee/sage praising the Supreme Lord (Ishvara) within the Ishvara-gita discourse of the Kurma Purana
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents the Supreme as one Ishvara who appears as Vishnu, Brahmā, and Rudra—indicating a single ultimate reality behind diverse cosmic functions, the inner ruler and support of all.
The verse supports īśvara-dhyāna and ekāgratā: meditation on one Lord as the ground of Prakṛti and the cosmos, a key orientation for Pashupata-style devotion and contemplative absorption taught in the Ishvara-gita section.
It identifies them as non-different manifestations of the same Supreme Lord (Parameśvara), expressing the Kurma Purana’s Shaiva–Vaishnava synthesis rather than sectarian separation.
