Aśauca-vidhi — Rules of Birth/Death Impurity, Sapinda Circles, and Śrāddha Sequence
सद्यः शौचं सपिण्डानां कर्तव्यं सोदरस्य च / ऊर्ध्वं दशाहादेकाहं सोदरो यदि निर्गुणः
sadyaḥ śaucaṃ sapiṇḍānāṃ kartavyaṃ sodarasya ca / ūrdhvaṃ daśāhādekāhaṃ sodaro yadi nirguṇaḥ
Pour les sapinda (parents de sang dans le cercle des offrandes funéraires) et aussi pour un frère germain, la purification doit être accomplie immédiatement. Mais au-delà des dix jours, si le frère est « nirguṇa » (non habilité aux rites complets), une seule journée d’impureté s’applique.
