Kurma Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 74

विवेश तद् वेदसारं स्थानं वै परमेष्ठिनः / भानोः स मण्डलं शुभ्रं ततो यातो महेश्वरम्

viveśa tad vedasāraṃ sthānaṃ vai parameṣṭhinaḥ / bhānoḥ sa maṇḍalaṃ śubhraṃ tato yāto maheśvaram

Il entra dans ce séjour qui est l’essence même des Veda — la demeure suprême de Parameṣṭhin (Brahmā). Puis il atteignit l’orbe du Soleil, resplendissant et pur, et de là il poursuivit vers Mahādeva (Maheśvara).
